4th of July Fishing Report!
Well it is the 4th of July weekend, town is filling up, and the weather is finally warming up to feel like Summer! Temps have us in the 70-80' degree range, and water temps are around 55-62 degrees. Big dries are happening and fish are looking up!
The wind last week was…well…insufferable. But we managed to get some into some nice fish!
Flows in the upper Yakima are holding steady, with no increases of flows in the forecast, visibility is excellent but the flows are a bit high so safety if you are choosing to wade is paramount!
Flies we are catching on are:
Dries Nymphs Streamers
Yellow Sallie Perdigons Ken Morrish Micro Streamer
Chubby Chernobyl Batmans Crawfish imitations
Gypsy Kings Any Stonefly imitation
