Water is dropping!
Fishing Report 8/22/26
While the Yakima and Cle Elum rivers are still high, they are dropping between 300 and 400 cfs a day, which means given another 10-ish days and walk and wade options will be ample!
We are into terrestrial times, so early am and later pm we are having great luck throwing big bugs as close to the bank as we can. Think Chubby Chernobyls, Gypsie Kings, Water Walkers and ants and bees.
Nymphs are still good mid day, with the Duracell and other euro style patterns working well.
The water is PUMPING out of Easton now, so Ensign, 3 bridges and Bullfrog, so if you’re walling and wading there, be very cautious.
